Project Brief: Chicago Chocolate Packaging Design.

Objective:
To create a packaging design for a premium Chicago-based chocolate brand, integrating both handcrafted elements and modern design techniques. The goal is to reflect the artisanal, handmade nature of the chocolate while paying homage to Chicago’s rich culture and iconic landmarks. 

Design Approach:
The packaging combines hand-drawn illustrations with digital typography to capture the essence of each flavor and create a distinct visual identity for the brand. The design should evoke a sense of craftsmanship, authenticity, and the unique spirit of Chicago.

UI UX role: For this project, I designed the website and created an interactive prototype using Figma, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. The main functionality focused on a one-click navigation from the homepage to the products page for easy browsing.

The "About" section was the central focus, leading users to three distinct pages showcasing "Our Story", providing a deeper connection to the brand. The design emphasizes clarity, smooth transitions, and a visually appealing layout that reflects the handcrafted nature of Chicago Chocolate.

Creative Direction:
Under the guidance of Ghazal Abyad, this design will explore the balance between traditional hand-drawing techniques and contemporary graphic design. The packaging should feel personal and artistic, resonating with consumers who appreciate authenticity and craftsmanship.

Deliverables:
Final designs for six different chocolate flavors, ready for print, with mockups showing how the packaging will look in-store and online.
